Temple of the Inscriptions

The ancient Mayan city of Lakamha (Palenque) was a sight to behold today. The stark contrast between the stone pyramids and the lush green jungle surrounding them was powerful to see in person. Add in the rich jungle smells and the sounds of howler monkeys in the near distance made the experience a feast for all of my senses.
