Temple of Kukulcán

This towering pyramid served as a temple to the deity Kukulcán, the Yucatec Maya Feathered Serpent. It was built by the Mayans sometime between the 8th and 12th centuries AD.

It has been an experience to view and walk around the various Mesoamerican archaeological sites scattered throughout Mexico. Each region has temples in their own styles, with some similarities shared between them all.
